Mom took a lot of my favorite toys and put them in the laundry, I thought she was playing around - but NO they were put in the washer!!!

But...look!!! They came out clean and smelling fresh!!!

Ok hello everyone!!! I am here - finally Mom has given me a few minutes on her LABtop so I could write to my friends. All my pup-friends must be wondering where I am and what I've been doing. Well I am fine! Let's see real quick, we have had family visiting from Switzerland...wow it was great, extra kisses, hugs, and lots of extra treats! Before they got here, I was forced to do "my part" of the cleaning.

I hope everyone is doing well and stayin' out of trouble....well...ha ha. OK gotta get going now, but I will be bloggin' much more now.

Hey all my Labrador friends, it's LAB day weekend...or something like that, I hear about all the Lab sales and stuff and humans have a long weekend off from work. Anyways, I am renaming it Lab weekend as that's what's important...us LABS! Enjoy!!!

What are your plans for the weekend?

Not sure what you are all doing for the weekend, but I think that some lazing around is in order. Things have been busy around here and torrential rain everyday around dinner time. Crazy, because mom says we don't live in Florida, why are we getting these rains. Anyways, I don't mind them, I just like to lie around and relax!!! There is enough time for running, chasing squirrels and barking at passer-bys...

5 years ago today!

5 years that I came to my new home. I was just 9 weeks old and I was taken away in a car and we drove 3 hrs. I slept the whole way - I was a happy fellow to be brought into a great family. I have been taken care of and wouldn't change any of it for the world.

From Mom: Parker is the best dog ever, we've had stressful times together but let's just say that the friendship and laughs he provides on a daily basis wouldn't make me change any of it. He is truly my best friend!

Hello to all my buddies! I hope you guys didn't forget about me...I have been on vacation (or that's what Mom calls it). I went to the sports club - ok I call it "roughing it" because there are no couches or beds to lay on and I got wet, sand in my feet, smelly, simply without the comforts of home. However, everyone there took care of me so well and I had great friends that I played with. Here are a few photos of the preparation for the vacay

Go Team SWISS

Team Switzerland is playing Spain in the World Cup as we write this. In participating -Unity in Diversity, we are going to speak a little about Switzerland today, the best "little country" in the world. We are bias as our family is there. In different regions of the country. We will share some photos of our lovely home country with you all today:

Birthdays are tiring!

Enough of the embarrassing baby pics Mom, let's bring things back to today. This is me relaxing after a long Birthday yesterday:So let me recap my day - I had breakfast as usual and I know Mom has been hiding something upstairs in her office cause I peeked in the bag when she brought it home last week. When she gave it to me I was like HUH???!!!???!!!! What is that....take a look yourselves - the blue one is the present. Is she kidding me?

OK so the story is the orange one on the left her name is "baby" and it was my EVER FIRST toy that Heidi bought me, my human cousin. I love Baby, she is special to me so I think when Mom saw the blue one she was thinking it would be a good match. Uhuh???? Not taking a liking yet.

Anyways, had a great day as last night out on my walk - the kids on my street sang Happy Birthday and I was rolling around in the grass, it was so much fun. Thanks to all the wishes everyone left me.

Happy 5th Birthday!!!

Mom here: Today is Parker's 5th Birthday. 5 Yrs ago he was born along with 9 other brothers and sisters. Here is a photo of them - can you guess my little guy? - maybe this is why he is ALWAYS hungry? Or he just loves the attention of everyone feeling bad for the little guy!He has brought 5 yrs of true friendship and happiness. We have had our ups and downs with his health, but we can say today is truly a special day for him + well me of course, as he is truly my best friend. HAPPY BIRTHDAY my boy!!!!

Busy Busy

OK, so Mom has been busy again - what is with this anyways! All this to say that tomorrow is my 5th Birthday and I really wanted to get some help on what I think Mom should buy me. I went for my yearly check-up at the vet last week and she even said - 5 is a big # and that I should get a nice present. So here goes, this is what I am thinking (in no particular order):

1. A trip to see all my blogger friends, so almost like a world tour
2. Or a trip to see a few of my friends
3. More cookies + treats on a daily basis
There are a lot more I can think of - but would really like your insight, because Mom listens to what you guys say : )

Mom here: on another note, Parker has a clean bill of health. When he had his tummy problems last fall and went in for emergency surgery, they had found an increased amount of copper in his liver, which can mean a few things: hepatoxicosis (copper storage disease), liver disease and a few others. Well we sighed a deep breathe when we heard all was good! They think it was just a one time thing due to his sickness at the time.

Ok, something is up - I need some help here my friends. Mom is coming and going a lot today and when she comes back she smells like.....other dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is going on...anyone have any ideas?

Parker: What? I am sooo excited, I'm going to be flown to Arizona to shoot the movie with Jack and the other movie stars. I am going to have a trailer, I get to see cactus' I cannnnot wait!

Mom: As you can see Parker is a little excited

Parker: Look at that photo of me - that is the first one that will be in my Portfolio, from now on - Movie Star Quality Only mom - no Pawpawrazzi - like photos! Only ones where I look like Brian (Family Guy) or Dino (Flintstones)

Mom: those are cartoon dogs Parker, sure you want to be compared to them?

Parker: I am going to lay down - it's tough being a movie star, I do need my handsome sleep.

Fantastic Friday

I am in need of the weekend - phew so tired, finally some great sunshine outside today and the weekend weather is going to be great too! I am so happy because that means I can be outside when the cleaning up of the yard is being done. I can laze around, while i watch the humans work...oh wait - I do that everyday! So what are your plans for the weekend? Happy weekend everyone!

Re-decorating on Earth Day

Well it's been rough! Mom has been so busy lately that we haven't had a chance to visit everyone and update our blog - SO tonight, while she is watching the Hockey Playoffs she promised me we would re-decorate my blog. OK so it's not called re-decorating, it's something like re-designing. Well, let me tell you all, it has been NO easy task. Everything I wanted to use as our background, she didn't want. So we have agreed on this layout. The outdoors for me and the daisy for Mom. Hope you like it, summer is around the corner here in Montreal. Hope all my friends are well and missed me as much as I missed you all!

Still lovin' Bunny

My Bunny is not an Easter Bunny that came by this past weekend, but just my friend. I have had him for more than 2 years already. But we DO have a REAL Bunny that lives around our neighborhood, we are trying to get a photo of him to show you all.

Springtime?

I thought springtime was time to play outdoors again! We had a beautiful early spring here in Montreal and NOW....it is cold, rainy and mixed with snow at times. Soooo I am stayin' indoors today! No I am not hitting Chino with the papertowel roll - I am showing him if he's a good boy he can play too! Hope you guys are all warm where you're at!!
